I've been thinking about this podcast / blog and I really want to continue it so as to not lose my umph and to continue keeping myself accountable for my knitting projects!
I want to start by saying it isn't just 1 thing that is making me decide to blog versus podcast for the time being instead, it is multiple technical difficulties including lack of a decent camera as well as issues exporting from imovie since updating my software on my macbook and then there is that continuing issue I am having with blip -__-
So as I said once, I am going to blog for a while. I may occasionally pop in via video but for now, until I can sort out all the technical difficulty aspects I think it is better that I maintain the blog, stay on schedule and remain responsible for my projects.
What does this mean for you guys? Well hopefully you might reading my updates each week (I still plan to update late Sunday nights or early Monday mornings). I will incorporate a lot of photos and the goal is to just keep you guys up to date with what I am doing fiber wise as well as a general weekly update about what is going on in my life.
So now that that is all out of the way I should back track.
I did record a video on December 23rd 2012 however the audio was off sync so I didn't want to fight blip to upload it.
My week consisted of 2 days of work as well as a lot of holiday knitting. I finished 3 cowls, 2 hats, a pair of mitts, the piggie, and 3 scarfs! I was very busy.

Phew! If you made it through all that I would like to add a bit more.
This week we celebrated Christmas with Ethan's family on Christmas eve. It was lovely and lots of fun, we got there early and had french toast with the girls and watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original). When guests arrived we sat around and chatted while I knit. We had a yummy steak dinner with amazing potatoes (roasted!) and wine. After dinner we opened gifts. We received quite a few things of which I will have to do a whole other update on when I am feeling better. I seem to have caught the flu this season so I am spending lots of time in bed and knitting (score!). Also this week I finished my last day of work with Cala so I am now searching for a new client, however I do have applications out to craft stores in the area and I am planning to apply with Disney too.
The last couple of days I have been knitting on a blanket for new baby. Two friends of mine brought their gorgeous daughter in to the world on December 30th at 1:42 am AZ ST! The blanket should be done and shipped by January 1st! :)
